About the Position

An experienced Electrical Tradesperson is required to join our Electrical Maintenance Team to maintain, diagnose, repair and replace plant and equipment for ongoing reliability. The role involves working to a weekly plan, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical motor control systems and instruments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working to a Weekly Plan
  • Performing Preventative and Predictive Maintenance
  • Troubleshooting Electrical Motor Control Systems
  • Troubleshooting Instruments Used in Process Control
  • Prioritizing Work in Demanding Situations
  • Switching HV Equipment When Required
  • Working with Process Operators and Other Trades
  • Interpreting Electrical, Pneumatic and P&ID Drawings

Requirements

  • Relevant Electrical Trade Certificate with Post-Trade Experience
  • Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence Issued by the Queensland Electrical Safety Office
  • Desirable: Experience in a Refinery or Similar Heavy Industry
  • Strong Safety Focus
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Computer Literacy with MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to Work as Part of a Team
