Job Title: Senior Anaesthetic Services Manager
About the RoleThis senior leadership role leads and coordinates clinical services to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and elevating the profile of anaesthetic services.
The Clinical Director Anaesthetics oversees departmental activity, collaborating with other departments to plan, develop, and implement coordinated clinical services and service plans aligned with organisational strategic priorities.
- Developing a contemporary department prepared to meet community needs over the next decade.
- Leading a team of multidisciplinary health professionals and administrative staff.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated management and operational skills, along with the ability to implement complex strategies to build support from internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities• Lead and manage a team of professionals in the Anaesthetics Department
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and deliver coordinated clinical services
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members
Requirements- Registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current Fellowship of the Australasian College or other relevant fellowship.
