About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a technical professional in our project team. As a Project Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering technical solutions for clients by planning and executing projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in IT infrastructure, with knowledge of cloud services, server installations, and hardware management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver IT infrastructure projects, including on-premises and cloud-based solutions
  • Install, upgrade, and migrate servers, as well as deploy Microsoft 365 and other modern platforms
  • Implement new hardware, software, and systems for clients, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Document work clearly and follow project delivery processes to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in an IT Project Technician or Technical role, preferably in the MSP space
  • Lived within the ACT region in Australia, with a valid Australian Driver's License to drive company vehicles and equipment
  • Ability to pass a police check and possess knowledge of the Essential 8 security best practices
  • Experience with Active Directory, EntraAD, Windows file shares, Group Policy creation, Intune enrollment, printer management, Office 365, domain/DNS management, and network administration (subnetting, L2/L3 switching/routing)
  • Desirable skills include experience with VOIP/SIP phone system administration, tracking project progression, creating documentation, and providing customer updates via ticket-based CRM
