Supporting Student Wellbeing

St Patrick's Primary School is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Care Worker to join their team in June for the rest of the year.

The role of the pastoral care worker will be varied depending on the needs of the individual students and school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing general spiritual and personal support to students.
  • Working with teachers, parents, and other members of the school community to support student wellbeing.
  • Developing strategies to promote student wellbeing and resilience.
  • Monitoring and reporting requirements related to student wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate IV in Youth Work or Pastoral Care or equivalent qualification.
  • An understanding of Catholic Identity and mission.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
  • Ability to prioritise student wellbeing.
  • Compliance with Child Protection laws.
