Community Support Worker - roles based in Sydney and Regional NSW

Responsibilities
  • Support and connect with clients by assisting with day-to-day in-home tasks in accordance with the client's care plan (e.g., cleaning, tidying, washing).
  • Transport clients to appointments and shopping.
  • Meal preparation and social support or respite for family/carers.
  • Provide personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (where qualified/fully trained).
Day-to-day Role Looks Like
  • Provide in-home tasks support and companionship as needed.
  • Assist with mobility and daily activities while maintaining client dignity and independence.
To Be Successful In This Role You'll Need
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older Australians in the community.
  • Comfort interacting with a wide variety of people and strong communication skills.
  • Reliable team player with understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential).

  • Location: Travelling to visit clients within your local community and surrounding suburbs.
  • Employment type: Permanent Part Time or Casual roles with flexible hours and days.
  • Salary: From $33.15 to $42.88 per hour + superannuation + km reimbursement (99c per km).
