Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer

About the Role

This is a key position within our organisation, responsible for maximising revenues and ensuring quality financial reporting.

The role involves accurate and timely processing of client accounts, including billing of fees and charges, receipting, direct debit, and the production of statements.

  • Processing client accounts with accuracy and speed to ensure timely payments
  • Maintaining quality systems and reporting to meet organisational standards
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and industry standards

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, including accounts receivable processes, reconciliations, and use of computerised accounts systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Avoid bad debts by communicating regularly with clients and managing their accounts effectively
  • Efficiently process invoices, receipts and statements to reduce administrative burdens
  • Maintain accurate records and files, adhering to data protection and confidentiality policies

You will also need to:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Show proficiency in using Microsoft Office software and other relevant tools
  • Develop effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role
  • Experience in aged care or health industry desirable
  • Relevant post-secondary studies an asset
