Environmental Expert Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Engineer or Scientist to fill this key position at our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, with experience in conducting environmental assessments and audits, providing input into statutory environment impact statements, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders.

You will be responsible for contributing to proposals and tenders, as well as working towards accreditation as an Environmental Auditor.

We welcome applications from parents returning to work and encourage flexible arrangements.

  • Conduct environmental assessments and audits across diverse projects.
  • Provide input into Statements of Environmental Effects, Regulatory Impact Assessments, Public Environment Reports, and Environmental Impact Assessments under NSW and Commonwealth Environmental Legislation.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Contribute to proposals and tenders at both a state and national level.

A degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science is essential, along with relevant experience and knowledge of the NSW Environmental Planning & Assessment Act and related legislation.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders are also required.
