The School of Medical Sciences at a leading university is a pioneering centre for medical science education, training the next generation of medical scientists. We offer an opportunity to collaborate with Associate Professor Khoon Lim as a Postdoctoral Research Associate.
As a key member of our team, you will conduct research and scholarly activities under limited supervision, contributing to our faculty's research agenda. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research, scholarly or professional activity, independently or as part of a team.
- Developing and refining independent research skills under senior academic staff supervision.
- Providing informal mentoring and advice to students within your discipline.
- Carrying out administrative tasks and contributing to faculty/school meetings.
- Contributing to a positive workplace culture in which diversity, contribution, collaboration, excellence, and achieving outcomes are valued and enabled.
- Understanding and contributing to furthering the university and faculty/school strategic agenda.
- Undertaking other duties and contributing to projects appropriate within the classification level as required.
We seek a candidate with a PhD in a relevant field, demonstrated proficiency in biomaterials synthesis, biofabrication/bioprinting, and materials characterization techniques. You should have experience conducting original research, engaging in scholarly activity, and developing a network of academic, industry, and professional partners and stakeholders.
A strong understanding of qualitative research methods and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. If you meet these requirements and are passionate about advancing medical science education, we encourage you to apply.
