Job Title: Clinical Healthcare ProfessionalJob Summary:

The role of a Clinical Nurse in the Metro North Health service is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals who can provide expert clinical knowledge and care to consumers/persons over 65 years with mental health and physical conditions.

This permanent full-time position will involve providing direct patient care, as well as supporting the general function of the unit through leadership and portfolio management. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and direction to Registered Nurses and other non-registered nursing personnel in complex situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current knowledge and competence within scope of position
  • Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise to deliver high-standard consumer/patient-centred care
  • Respond appropriately to sudden alterations in health status using advanced nursing assessment and intervention skills

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a dynamic environment. They will also be committed to the values of delivering culturally safe and responsive healthcare services.
