About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate dialysis nurse to join our Casual Nurse Bank team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, providing expert care and support to patients undergoing dialysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, managing the physical and emotional well-being of patients, and collaborating with a friendly and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care and support to patients undergoing dialysis
  • Manage patient records, including documentation and reporting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum three years' experience in haemodialysis nursing
  • Post-graduate Renal certificate desirable but not essential
  • Recent experience with Nipro Surdial X Dialysis machine desirable
