Data Governance and Digital Transformation Lead

We are seeking a strategic Data Governance and Digital Transformation Lead to join our team. This role will lead the development and implementation of business-critical digital solutions underpinned by strong data governance principles.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish future-state data governance policy and procedure to ensure compliance and risk management;
  • Develop an internal systems quality improvement roadmap to drive digital transformation;
  • Capitalise on technology and information/data management to enhance organisational capabilities;
  • Leverage data analytics to inform business decisions and drive growth;
  • Foster collaboration across departments to achieve common goals;
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency gains through automation and innovation;

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification/s in Information Technology or equivalent relevant experience in solutions architecture, data governance, and business analysis/improvement related roles;
  • At least 5 years of experience in high level administration of information systems and technology;
  • Proven experience leading teams in the delivery and support of a diverse and complex portfolio of business-critical IT infrastructure;
  • Significant experience at a management level, including high level strategic thinking and planning skills; and ability to transition between strategic and operational;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment and express concepts clearly and effectively;
  • Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative business relationships for the benefit of the organisation;
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to be agile and flexible in approach to work with a continuous improvement mindset;
