About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position offering career development opportunities in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing subdivision projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and road design using advanced software.
  • Conducting site visits to assess conditions and determine design parameters.
  • Preparing and reviewing design drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Providing guidance to junior engineers and liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
  • Attending site meetings and offering technical support to clients and contractors.
Project Overview

This role involves working on diverse projects ranging from residential subdivisions to large-scale community developments, utilizing cutting-edge technology and eco-sensitive designs.

The team undertakes in-house road and stormwater drainage designs, water reticulation design, and sewer reticulation designs for council/certifier construction approval. Additionally, they develop stormwater strategies for DA's, erosion and sediment control plans, and traffic control plans.

Requirements
  • Experience in civil engineering, particularly in subdivision design.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
  • Experience with road, stormwater drainage, water, and sewer reticulation design for council approval.
  • A diploma in civil engineering/design would also be acceptable provided you have the experience and knowledge.
