Disability Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in Wollongong and Illawarra. As a support worker, you will provide individualized care and support to people with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients to maintain their personal space and daily living skills.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a healthier lifestyle and empower participants to achieve their goals.
  • Use crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to manage complex behaviors and redirect behaviors of concern.

Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check (required)

  • Driver's License (required)
  • NDIS Screener check (required)
  • Police Check (required)
