**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Mackay Sugar. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing safe and efficient electrical, instrumentation, and control system projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop project designs that meet Australian and internal standards
  • Negotiate work schedules with site personnel
  • Capture SAP master data
  • Develop commissioning and quality plans
  • Maintain an accurate project risk register

**Requirements**

  • Trade Certificate and Associate-Degree, Advanced-Diploma AQF level 6 in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical role
  • OR Bachelor AQF level 8 in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical role
  • Strong understanding of the Electrical Safety Act and associated electrical standards
  • Experience in and knowledge of the raw sugar manufacturing process is well regarded but not essential
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft applications and Maintenance Management systems including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications (SAP)
  • Strong Demonstrated WHS & E knowledge
