About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Ultradynamix. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and deliver Cyber Security solutions in hybrid and cloud-only environments in line with Australia Government Cyber Security requirements.
  • Configure, support, and monitor security tooling including SIEM and PAM across an enterprise, providing resilient and highly available solutions.
  • Implement, configure, and manage security tooling including Microsoft Sentinel, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Microsoft Defender 365, and Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
  • Automate and implement via Infrastructure as Code solutions.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business, technology, external suppliers, and other subject-matter experts.
  • Develop documentation such as Detailed Designs, High-Level Designs, As-Built-As-Configured, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in designing, implementing, delivering, and supporting Microsoft Security and Compliance solutions in hybrid and cloud-only environments in line with Australia Government Cyber Security requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing, configuring, and managing security tooling including SIEM and PAM across an enterprise, providing resilient and highly available solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with Vulnerability scanning tools preferably Qualys, including the analysis and reporting of the data to provide recommendations and action plans to management.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to improve strategic and operational cyber capability to the Department.
Desirable Criteria
  • Any relevant industry certifications and qualifications.
