We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate enrolled nurse to join our team in a unique transition program.
The Enrolled Nurse Transition Program: Acute Care offers a distinctive opportunity for enrolled nurses to immerse themselves in a diverse range of specialty areas, each presenting its own challenges and pathways for professional growth. This program is guided by a highly experienced Clinical Nurse Educator and includes comprehensive orientation within each ward rotation, as well as structured education days tailored specifically to the needs of enrolled nurses.
About the Role
Candidates will have the chance to experience working in various clinical settings, including medical intervention services and surgical services, in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment. They will also have opportunities for clinical variety and career progression in a meaningful way.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse prior to July 2025.
- A strong combination of qualifications and skills:
- Clear, empathetic, and confident communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Strong critical thinking for informed decision-making in fast-paced settings.
- Genuine empathy and a patient-centred approach to care.
