We are seeking an experienced Senior Import Coordinator to join our dynamic Supply Chain team at Stratco, a leading Australian-owned innovator and manufacturer of quality building and renovation solutions.


This exciting opportunity is based at our corporate office in Gepps Cross and will involve ensuring the efficient storage and distribution of goods in accordance with sales and stock targets.


As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for placing orders, managing product pricing, expediting delivery and receiving, and ensuring sufficient capacity exists within the supply chain.


You will also be involved in various projects aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy, leading to enhanced service levels in the supply chain.


In this role, you will serve as the integration point between national supply chain, merchandising, and e-commerce teams and state-based purchasing, warehousing, despatch, and logistics teams.


About You:



  • Essential - Experience in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, particularly import and container management
  • Essential - Hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
  • Essential - Demonstrated competency of MS Excel; able to provide analysis, prepare reports, and charts
  • Desirable - Manufacturing industry experience
  • Desirable - Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management
  • Strong attention to detail skills and ability to think outside the box
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work independently while contributing to the team

Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage import and export processes, including customs clearance and compliance
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues and develop solutions
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience
