**THE OPPORTUNITY**

As a **National** **Imports Administrator, **you will support the Supply Chain Team in ensuring the efficient storage and flow of manufactured, bought-in goods and imported goods. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of activities with the ability to have genuine impact in the work you will do.

Based at our corporate office in **Gepps Cross**, reporting to the Senior National Logistics Coordinator, the primary focus of this role is to place and manage import orders and oversee freight forwarding and customs clearance activities, managing documentation and providing timely reports on status of orders and shipping costs.

The role will also support the Procurement and Logistics teams with the maintenance of purchase pricing, monitoring capacity in warehouses, and understand and manage logistics costs. You will be involved in many projects to improve efficiency and accuracy leading to improved service levels.

In this position you will be the integration point between the national supply chain, retail, and e-commerce teams and the state-based purchasing, warehousing, despatch, and logistics teams.

**ABOUT YOU**
- ** Essential -** Experience in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, in particular import and container management
- ** Essential** - Hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
- ** Essential** - Demonstrated competency of MS Excel. Able to do reporting, provide analysis and charts and present findings.
- ** Desirable -** Manufacturing industry experience
- ** Desirable -** Tertiary qualifications
- Confidence to deal with suppliers and service providers.
- Evidence of working collaboratively with others to resolve issues and develop solutions.
- Strong attention to detail skills with the proven ability to think outside the box
- Effective communication skills and able to work independently whilst contributing within the team.
- Willing to take on a variety of tasks, to use initiative and interested in self-development.
