Job Overview

Electronic Technician roles involve providing maintenance and repair services for electronic devices in vehicles, plant and equipment.

As an Electronic Technician, you will diagnose faults, test, and repair electronic devices to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of electronic devices in vehicles, plant and equipment
  • Diagnosing faults, testing, and repairing electronic devices
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade Certificate III in electro-technology communications or a similar electronics discipline
  • Australian Citizenship and eligibility for defence clearance
  • Ability to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain electronics equipment such as radios, optical instruments, navigational aids, laser range-finding equipment, and electro-optical systems
  • Demonstrated competencies in computer IT applications, including MILIS, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to maintain and repair equipment at module level, including high-frequency and very-high-frequency radio systems
