A global leader in regenerative infrastructure seeks a Change Management Officer to manage changes and risks for its Water Desalination Plant. The role involves stakeholder relationships, compliance with change management plans, identifying post-contract changes, and preparing head contract claims.
The project includes the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a water desalination plant with first production expected in 2028. Works involve marine structures, tunnels, seawater intake systems, and drinking water storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage project changes impacting time, cost, and scope.
- Prepare and support contract claims, especially for client-driven changes.
- Ensure effective communication of change requests to all stakeholders.
- Deliver tailored training to site teams on project-specific change management processes.
- Identify, assess, and monitor risks and opportunities, aligning them with change management strategies.
- Engage stakeholders and report on risks, ensuring compliance through audits.
Required Skills and Competencies
- 2+ years of experience in change management or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to critically think through claim issues.
- Ability to handle competing priorities and multitask.
