Accountant for Insolvency Matters

This role involves working with a renowned firm in Sydney's CBD, offering breathtaking views of the harbor. As an Accountant specializing in insolvency matters, you will be part of a team supporting clients across Australia.

  • Conduct thorough investigations into insolvent entities' financial situations by analyzing statements and records.
  • Prepare reports for external stakeholders and engage in professional communication via phone or written responses.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients, reflecting positively on the organization.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members as they develop their skills.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in insolvency, ideally 1-5 years.
  • Demonstrate strong investigation skills, with a proven track record of successful recovery of voidable transactions.
  • Familiarity with Australian legislation governing insolvency is essential.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or Part-Qualified status, or currently enrolled.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude are crucial for success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as MYOB.
  • A willingness to pursue further studies, such as ARITA qualifications, is highly valued.

Flexible working arrangements can be accommodated if necessary. Emphasis is placed on providing training and mentoring support from management.
