Key Responsibilities- Regulated Emissions Reporting: Analyze and report on our company's carbon and pollutant emissions and governance performance metrics.
- Sustainability Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of sustainability strategies.
- Compliance and Governance: Monitor and track compliance with relevant sustainability regulations and standards.
- Data-Driven Insights: Provide data-driven insights to help shape corporate sustainability initiatives.
- Sustainability Reporting: Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, including data collection and validation.
- Emerging Trends and Best Practices: Identify emerging sustainability trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
We are looking for a proactive and solution-driven individual with a passion for sustainability. You will need:
- Proven Experience: Proven experience reporting emissions under regulatory frameworks in Australia or a jurisdiction with similar requirements.
- Sustainability Knowledge: An understanding of Australian or international Sustainability reporting frameworks.
- Legislative Expertise: Experience developing, writing or interpreting Sustainability related or adjacent legislation or regulation.
- Governance Experience: Experience establishing or adapting governance processes and controls associated with Sustainability reporting requirements in Australia.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications desirable but not essential.
- Travel Requirements: Current driver's license as occasional travel to site is required.
