Procurement Systems Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the design, implementation and delivery of key procurement systems.

  • Manage project planning, timelines, budgets and quality outcomes.
  • Oversee data migration, system configuration and process standardisation.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and change management using ADKAR or similar methodologies.
  • Manage risk, resolve issues and ensure a smooth transition to new platforms.

This is an opportunity to deliver meaningful change within a Queensland Government department, working on critical procurement transformation initiatives. You will have a strong background in project management with exposure to procurement systems, skilled in stakeholder engagement and vendor relationship management, experience in risk management, change management and agile methodologies.

Successful candidates will be able to translate manual processes into efficient digital workflows, and have a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. This role offers both challenge and impact, with the possibility of contract extension based in the Brisbane CBD.

About You

  • A degree in a related field such as business administration, commerce or engineering.
  • Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, Agile or PMBOK.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a public sector environment.
