Environmental Services Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Environmental Services Assistant to join our Support Services Team on a casual basis. As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to a clean and safe environment by performing various cleaning tasks, including floor care and waste removal.
- Take the initiative to respond to changes in cleaning requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions, answer patient and carer queries, and meet OHS requirements.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and achieve goals.
- Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of infection control practices applicable to cleaning are highly desirable.
