The role will involve providing personal care and domestic assistance across a seven-day roster, with varied shift times available.
You will be part of a collaborative team, delivering individualized and flexible support to make a positive impact and enhance the quality of life for our customers.
About YouThe successful applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Ability to travel between locations
- Initiative and ability to work successfully in a team environment and autonomously
- Experience in supporting people with intellectual disabilities and a sound knowledge of supporting people with challenging behaviors
- Passion, professionalism, and integrity in their role
- Flexibility to cover teammates when sickness or leave occurs
- Interest or previous experience in behavior supports
- Experience working with clients that require manual handling
- Ability to work with participants, families, and relevant professionals to support participants' goals
- Experience assisting with meal planning, preparation, and cooking with customers
- Experience following care plans
- Willingness to undertake additional training

The successful applicant will require:
- Current South Australian Working with Children Check (Working)
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Check (Working)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (desirable) or equivalent experience
- Current First Aid certificate (completed in the last 3 years)
- Current CPR certificate (completed in the last 12 months)
- Current Manual Handling certificate (completed in the last 12 months)
- Driver's licence
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
- NDIS Supporting Safe Meals Training Module
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
- Previous experience working with children
