The Role

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for material receipt, storage, and kitting of work orders as well as returns processing, including managing repair, disposals, and manifesting. To manage equipment, tools, and consumables inventory to ensure safety-critical items are fit for purpose and in good condition.

You will maintain the overall health and stock accuracy of the warehouse to ensure material availability. This role involves collating and reporting warehouse data on the facility's operation. Effective communication with clients and vendors is crucial for stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick and verify materials accurately.
  • Process goods receipts, taking individual responsibility for accuracy and completing inventory transactions.
  • Process returns with the same diligence as inbound materials.
  • Maintain adherence to warehousing principles and processes.
  • Loading and unloading of offshore containers.
  • FOLLOW THE PRINCIPLES OF CHAIN OF RESPONSIBILITY.
  • Actively work to keep the workplace clean and safe.
  • Routinely cycle count inventory.
  • Identify and report defects within the warehouse or storage system, providing action points, due completion dates, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure that materials databases and project reporting tools are updated with the latest purchasing, receipt delivery, and shipping information.
Requirements

This role requires excellent organisational skills, enabling you to manage and prioritise tasks effectively according to criticality and operational demand.

You must be able to describe general principles, processes, and key activities related to receiving, checking, issuing, transporting, packaging, kitting, and storing goods to required standards.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite is essential, while SAP experience with MM/QM modules is highly desirable.
