  • Seeking a part-time Payroll Officer and HR Administrator to manage payroll processing, ensure accuracy and timely execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process fortnightly payroll with attention to detail and efficiency.
  2. Review and correct payroll reports to minimize discrepancies.
  3. Communicate with employees regarding timesheet issues and payroll inquiries in a professional manner.
  4. Coordinate with managers to confirm overtime and production hours for accurate payment processing.
  5. Upload payroll data to the system to ensure payments are made correctly and efficiently.
  6. Prepare payroll reconciliation and handle back payments as required.
  7. Submit payroll tax and superannuation lodgements to the relevant authorities on time.
  8. Perform HR administrative tasks including recruitment during non-payroll weeks, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Australian payroll systems and regulations.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills with the ability to work with pre-designed spreadsheets and formulas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with employees and management.
  • Proactive approach with effective follow-up skills to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
