CEVA Logistics is seeking a skilled Warehouse / Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team at Truganina VIC.
About the RoleWe are looking for a driven and focused individual to identify process improvements across our contract logistics warehouse business operations and drive both profit improvements and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities- Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies
- Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes
- Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities and through training, coaching and data analysis
- Develop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports
- Guide and drive our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program
We are looking for a tertiary qualified individual in industrial engineering (or related) with solid experience gained in a related role in any industry (preference for logistics / supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related).
Other attributes:
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.
- Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
- Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)
- Bonus: 2D drawing/design experience in AutoCAD or similar
