Award-Winning Field Service Fitter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Fitter to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction for our customers.

About the Role
  • Provide exceptional maintenance and repair services to our customers' fleets of Caterpillar equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with CAT machinery.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve targets and ensure quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to the highest possible standard.
  2. Research and consult the correct service information systems for specific procedures, instructions, and specifications.
  3. Take all reasonable steps to ensure that assigned tasks are free of faulty workmanship and assure quality in the finished product.
  4. Ensure repairs are carried out using the appropriate control guidelines to prevent rework jobs.
  5. Meet deadlines and ensure all assigned tasks are completed within required target times.
  6. Support the sale of genuine parts and provide guidance and advice to customers on supply of genuine parts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant trade qualifications in diesel fitting or similar.
  • White card and C class driver's license required.
  • Physically fit to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + D&A Screening.
  • Previous experience on CAT machinery & CAT diagnostic systems desirable.
  • Well-developed communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team as required.
  • Demonstrated and proven ability with desktop computers and devices.
  • Commitment to a high level of workplace health and safety.
