Key Role: Senior Policy and Project Officer

This key position within Community and Aboriginal Partnerships is accountable to the Manager, Policy and Projects for coordinating the development and implementation of strategic directions, complex policies and procedures that enhance service delivery within the Aboriginal Practice and Partnerships (APP) portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating strategic directions and implementing effective policies to improve service delivery in the APP portfolio.
  • Providing valuable insights by coordinating expert advice and evidence-based planning and reporting.
  • Developing strong partnerships with departmental divisions and stakeholders to enhance policy implementation and decision-making processes.
  • Identifying and promoting innovative solutions using data analysis to drive improvement in the APP portfolio.

  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours when necessary.
