Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Optical Dispenser to join our team at National Pharmacies. As an Optical Dispenser, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with all their eye care solutions.

  • You should possess previous experience as an Optical Dispenser, and have skills in assisting customers with eye care solutions.">
  • You will be required to work a combination of day, evening, and weekend shifts.">
  • As a member of our Optical team, you may be required to work across multiple locations.">

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service and advice.">
  • Suggest products that meet customers' needs and close sales.">
  • Explain how products work and demonstrate how to use them.">
  • Be committed to attending regular training sessions.">
  • Operate a cash register and EFTPOS facilities effectively.">
  • Manage inventory and ensure displays are merchandised appropriately.">
  • Be flexible to work at different locations.">

You will have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, excellent personal and professional presentation, and be energetic and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Outstanding customer service skills.">
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS experience.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to work flexible hours.">
  • Willingness to supply or undergo a police check prior to commencement.">
  • A Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing, or a willingness to undertake relevant on-the-job training.">
  • A current driver's license and reliable motor vehicle.">

Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
