Key Responsibilities
  • Provide career counselling sessions to workers, assessing their skills, interests, and aspirations to identify suitable employment opportunities.
  • Assist workers in exploring job options, searching for suitable vacancies, and preparing job applications, resumes, and cover letters tailored to their abilities and experience.
  • Develop and implement effective job placement strategies to support workers in achieving their employment goals.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with employers to promote job opportunities for workers, advocating for inclusive hiring practices and facilitating job placements.
  • Manage a caseload of workers, maintaining accurate records of their progress, employment outcomes, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and/or complete additional support services as needed, such as retraining, vocational assessments, and workplace accommodations to facilitate successful employment transitions.
