Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Operations Leader to join our team at our Clarence Gardens Facility.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring your production shift runs as efficiently and safely as possible while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate production operations on a shift basis to meet demand and efficiency targets.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and food manufacturing standards (HACCP, GMP).
  • Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Ensure timely and accurate production confirmation data entry into SAP while identifying and investigating inconsistencies.
  • Coordinate and motivate the production team providing guidance, coaching, and feedback.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Be a role model for working safely and promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent certification/experience in Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Science, or related field.
  • Leadership skills and ability to drive results.
  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is highly desirable.
