Data Centre Security Officer Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Data Centre Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our data centre facilities, including conducting security patrols, monitoring alarms, and responding to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular security patrols of the data centre facilities to prevent unauthorized access or suspicious activity
  • Monitor facility alarms and security systems to identify potential security breaches
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies in a professional and timely manner
  • Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches and report findings to management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • AGSVA NV1 Clearance
  • Experience in IT systems for security access and control
  • Australian Citizenship with full working rights in NSW
  • Valid Security License (Class 1A or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and observational skills
  • Strong customer service experience with multi-tasking abilities
  • Conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and intermediate PC skills (MS Suite)
