About Your New Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to fill the position of Veterinary Nurse.

In this challenging role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to animals in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking general nursing duties, including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care, and pathology
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Caring, handling and cleaning all animals
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the facility, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Providing excellent customer service, including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients

To be successful in this role, you will possess a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience. You will also have excellent animal handling skills, a calm and friendly presence, great communication and customer service skills, and be flexible and adaptable within a team environment.
