Role Overview
Royal Freemasons Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Centennial Lodge Residential Aged Care Facility in Wantirna South VIC.
About the Role
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will be pivotal in delivering safe, high-quality, and contemporary clinical care to our residents. You will play an important role in providing supervision and guidance to care staff, ensuring a resident-centric approach and high level of care and support is provided to our residents at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality medical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
- Undertaking, or supervising others to undertake, clinical care for individual residents as required, including complex wound care, pain management, behaviour management, end-of-life care, and other clinical procedures as may be necessary.
- Liaising with relevant residential care staff, medical, allied health, hospital, and other specialist health practitioners to ensure residents receive high-level clinical care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent experience in caring for high-care and dementia residents.
- Knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, clinical assessments, and care plans.
