Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Automation Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure efficient, reliable and scalable testing of digital products and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Test Automation Strategy & Delivery: Develop and implement scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API and integration layers. Create and maintain automated test scripts for regression, smoke and functional testing, and integrate them into Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines to support fast, reliable deployments.
  • Mentoring & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior automation engineers, promoting best practices and high code quality. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality automation scripting.
  • Defect Identification & Continuous Improvement: Support test execution, analyse failures, and work closely with engineering teams to isolate and resolve defects. Contribute to enhancing test coverage, execution efficiency and reporting within the automation practice.
About You

You hold a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, and ideally, you have certifications in test automation, DevOps or CI/CD. Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) tools, containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), cloud environments (AWS or Azure), or work in regulated industries will be highly regarded.
