Job Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor role involves leading a team of maintenance technicians to execute preventative maintenance and ensure maximum equipment uptime at our fulfilment centre.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and direction to achieve their goals.
  • Deliver and maintain preventative maintenance programs, including facility management and contractor supervision.
  • Act as an ambassador for safety within the team, promoting safe working practices across the site.
  • Manage maintenance-related purchase orders to ensure smooth facility operation and control of critical spare and store inventory.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all facility systems, including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, conveyance, and other operational equipment.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organisation.

Key Qualifications:

  • A formal trade qualification, such as Cert III In Electrotechnology or Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner).
  • Industrial maintenance experience.
  • Leadership experience in supervising multi-trade teams in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing/distribution centre environment.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing technicians.
  • Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
  • Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
