Job Summary

The Buys and Loans Operator is responsible for facilitating financial transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role requires exceptional customer service skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a passion for building lasting relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day transactions in accordance with company requirements.
  • Accurately process pricing feedback and trends to achieve KPI targets.
  • Develop strong rapport with customers by actively listening to their needs.
  • Effectively communicate pricing, valuation, and pawnbroking information to customers.
  • Ensure all transactions are performed in line with legislative requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in customer service within the Pawnbroking and/or Retail environment.
  • A genuine interest in Technology, Gaming, Collectables, Jewellery, or Tools and Hardware.
  • Excellent communication skills that build trust and demonstrate compassion.
  • Ability to confidently negotiate with customers for a win/win outcome.
  • Strong analytical skills to discuss and clearly explain contract details.
