Senior Legal Specialist

Protecting the integrity of South Australia's justice system requires skilled legal professionals to tackle fraud, cybercrime, corruption and confiscations. We are seeking experienced Solicitors to join our Commercial Crime and Confiscations team.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in providing a fair and independent criminal prosecution service for the people of South Australia.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage complex matters involving fraud, cybercrime, corruption and confiscations
- Act on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions in civil and criminal jurisdictions
- Carry a general criminal practice of overflow prosecutions alongside a substantive civil file load
- Advanced expertise in criminal and civil matters
- Strong advocacy, strategic thinking and understanding of proceeds of crime legislation, equity and civil procedure
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Flexible full-time and part-time working arrangements
