Senior Development Manager

As a Senior Development Engineer, you will lead the delivery of high-profile developments in the ACT. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader capable of managing the design/approval processes and delivery of residential developments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Project Directors and Development Managers on projects primarily in the ACT.
- Prepare consultant briefs and recommend the appointment of consultants.
- Review engineering designs and assist with future planning.
- Support and provide direction to consultants during the design, documentation, construction, and title registration phases.
- Direct consultants during the tender and construction phase and approve variations.
- Assist Development Managers in the preparation of project budgets, cash flows, programmes, and monitor the performance of projects against time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Facilitate the preparation of development applications and voluntary planning agreements.
- Liaise with government agencies to facilitate timely approvals and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure strict compliance with WHS legislation and company safety standards across areas of responsibility.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to create dynamic and effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports for senior management and joint venture partners.
- Lead consultants and contractors through the design, documentation, construction, and registration phases of development.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
- Strong experience in project and financial management within property development.
- Background in sustainability, technology integration, infrastructure, and mixed-use environments.
- Outstanding time management, planning, commercial acumen.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
