About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager to join our team at Bupa Dental Kew. As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coaching, leading, and developing a high-performing practice team
  • Assisting with overall financial performance of the practice
  • Maintaining sterilization, infection control standards, and stock control
  • Patient management, including greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making and confirming appointments, and checking and processing customer accounts
  • General administration, including processing payments using EFTPOS and HiCaps
  • Proactively marketing the practice to drive patient numbers
  • Effectively managing the recruitment and selection of practice staff
Requirements
  • Previous dental experience is desirable, but we also welcome applications from successful managers from other industries
  • Prior business and people management experience is essential
  • Proven track record of strong organizational skills, administrative, and time management
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills, and strong business acumen
  • Understanding of how to generate income and control costs
  • Able to face difficult conversations and deal promptly with issues when they arise
  • Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and practice team members
  • Experienced in comprehending and managing the P&L for the practice
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills, and strong business acumen
  • The ability to communicate proficiently in both English and Mandarin is highly desirable for this role
