**Psychology Clinic Administrator**
Looking for an enthusiastic, professional and reliable administrator with excellent attention to detail for our friendly psychology practice based in beautiful leafy Kew East. Join our awesome team as our warm and welcoming clinic administrator and client intake officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about customer service and delivering an outstanding client experience. Would suit an experienced receptionist with previous or current experience in an allied health / medical clinic. Psychology students with a high level of maturity and professionalism will also be considered, however previous or current clinic reception / administration experience is essential.
**The role**:
A preference to work all day Thursdays and Fridays with a view to potentially increase hours to include 9-1 on Tuesdays. Casual to begin with a view to permanent part-time.
Patient scheduling/ bookings via our practice management system Power Diary, medicare/processing payments, greeting clients and providing education to new clients on our services are just some of the tasks required to undertake in this role.

**Duties include**:
- Intake of information for new client bookings
- Rescheduling client bookings and diary management for psychologists
- Medicare or private health claims and receipting
- Ensuring client records are managed accurately and confidentially
- Producing reports, Excel documents or other documents
- Explaining and educating new clients over the phone on our services and treatment
- Preparing and receipting accounts, processing payments
- Entering client and referrer data to create client files
- General administration duties
- Creating Initial Letters for Referrers and Faxing
- General ad hoc administration duties
- Data entry
- Meeting and greeting clients in a friendly, warm and professional manner
- Assist the Directors with general administration tasks as required
- General front desk reception duties, ordering stationary and supplies
**Skills required**:
- At least 2 years medical reception or health clinic experience is required
- Experience with client/patient appointment scheduling (on-the-job training provided in our practice management system)
- Experience with Medicare billing and Mental Health Care Plans, an advantage
- Experience managing multiple practitioners and locations preferred
- Must have strong computer and quick typing speed, as well as sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task with accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Caring nature, with a calm and positive disposition
- Friendly and warm personality
- Reliable, well presented and professional
- Comfortable in a small but growing team
- Ability to work independently when required
