We are seeking an experienced aviation tanker driver to join our operations and maintenance team in Townsville, AU.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Defence Force across multiple locations. As a member of our team, you will work closely with defence personnel to deliver fuel to RAAF bases and other Defence stakeholders.

The role involves operating fuel tanker trucks around the installation and base, working with operators to safely load fuel tanks, delivering fuel to designated points, and communicating with internal and external teams for excellent customer experience.

  • Operate fuel tanker trucks around the installation and base.
  • Work closely with operators to safely load fuel tanks.
  • Deliver fuel to designated points.
  • Operate pumps on tanker trucks to ensure effective delivery of fuel.
  • Communicate with internal and external teams.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid HC Drivers Licence (or above) and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence.
  • Possess proven experience operating heavy vehicles.
  • Hold experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry (highly regarded).
  • Exhibit good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
  • Hold current or be able to obtain relevant security clearances.
