**Social Program Coordinator | Warabrook**:

- This position is responsible for driving the engagement and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our resident's choices and independence.

Key aspects of this role include running and organising all recreational activity and lifestyle programs, ensuring individual residents' needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences are taken into account.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and evaluate engaging social programs to meet the diverse needs and interests of residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to develop and deliver person-centred care plans.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to foster a sense of community and belonging.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on program participation, resident feedback, and other relevant data.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualification such as Cert III in Leisure & Health or willingness to complete.
  • Previous experience in an aged care setting along with understanding of work health and safety practices will be an advantage.
