Bingo Assistant Volunteer Opportunity

This volunteer role involves assisting with bingo sessions in an aged care home, providing social interaction and companionship to residents. As a Bingo Assistant, you will be part of a team that helps create a warm and welcoming environment for our elderly residents.

The role is rewarding and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others. You will be responsible for helping to set up bingo sessions, seating residents, spotting numbers, providing new cards, and distributing prizes.

This is a great opportunity to develop new skills, learn about working in a team, and gain valuable experience in a healthcare setting. You will also have the chance to meet new people and make lasting friendships.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to commit to regular shifts. You will also need to have a National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by the organization, plus an NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with bingo sessions in adjoining cottages
  • Help seat residents and spot numbers
  • Provide new cards and distribute prizes
Requirements:

18 years or older
