Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding machines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in die setting, material handling, and quality control. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with the maintenance team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication with the maintenance team regarding plant and equipment within the moulding operation;
  • Material handling tasks;
  • Die-setting and operating computer-controlled machines and ancillaries;
  • Assisting with repairs and maintenance of machines;
  • Troubleshooting;
  • Performing quality checks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in die setting from an injection moulding background is essential;
  • Technical Skills: Ability to program ancillary equipment and set parameters on injection moulding machines;
  • Safety Consciousness: A keen eye for detail on product quality and safety consciousness;
  • Proven Track Record: Proven ability in maintaining tooling and machinery;
  • Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience and the ability to lead a team effectively.
