Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a technology generalist, providing support and guidance to government business areas. As a digital graduate, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of the agency and translating technical information into plain English for business purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to a wide variety of support roles such as service desk, software and desktop support
  • Connecting the needs of the agency with technology opportunities
  • Providing research, analysis and advice on trends to inform decisions
  • Translating technical information into plain English for business needs
  • Contributing to writing briefs, submissions, reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Working with people to create change and help those who are technology challenged

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in existing technology and emerging technology
  • Excellent people and organisational skills
  • The ability to work and contribute in a team environment
  • A high level of interpersonal, communication and liaison skills
  • The ability to self-manage conflicting priorities and workloads
  • The ability to produce detailed and accurate work including high level writing skills

Eligibility:

  • Must have graduated mid-2025 or by December 2025
  • Qualifications no older than three (3) years old
  • Have unrestricted working rights under Commonwealth Law
  • Be available to start work by February 2026 or sooner if requested
