Lifestyle Opportunity
This role plays a vital part in crafting, implementing, and assessing leisure activities for clients, families, and colleagues. The responsibilities include devising programmes and care plans, collaborating with the clinical team to provide guidance to Personal Support Workers and Lifestyle Assistants, and supporting clients' emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement leisure opportunities tailored to clients' interests and requirements;
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless service delivery;
- Offer guidance to Personal Support Workers and Lifestyle Assistants on client engagement and support;
- Support clients' emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual needs through empathetic approaches;
- Maintain accurate records and reports as needed.
Requirements:
- Cert IV or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent qualification;
- Current police check and statutory declaration not precluding work in aged care;
- Ability to engage with clients, families, and colleagues in delivering leisure services;
- First Aid Certificate;
- Demonstrated experience in planning, programming, and conducting activities in aged care.
