About the Position:
Tradewind Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AVITH Practice Lead to join their Multicultural Adolescent Family Violence In The Home (AVITH) team. As a key member of the team, you will provide leadership and guidance to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that services are delivered in a trauma-informed, whole-of-family framework.
This role involves supervising a team of professionals, developing and implementing best practice models, and working closely with the team to ensure culturally safe and effective practice. This role is primarily onsite across Carlton and Wyndham, with some flexibility on location based on needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a multidisciplinary team
- Develop and implement best practice models
- Work closely with the team to ensure culturally safe and effective practice
Requirements:
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Therapeutic training with family violence expertise
- Experience in Men's Behaviour Change (MBC) and family violence, with a focus on early intervention
- Strong supervision and practice development skills
- Trauma-informed, whole-of-family approach
- Cultural awareness and ability to work with multicultural communities
What We Offer:
- SCHADS Level 6 salary ($106K-$111K) based on experience
- Full-time role with flexible location between Carlton and Wyndham
- Opportunity to shape practice and provide impactful supervision
- Mostly onsite role with some flexibility based on FTE
